General Hospital Spoilers: Willow’s Greedy Downfall, Taking Drew’s Congress Seat Ends in Disaster?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) will inevitably face a greedy downfall. Will taking Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) Congress seat end in disaster?

Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) recently called Willow over to Wyndemere so he could sell her on the idea of replacing incapacitated Drew. From Sidwell’s perspective, Willow is the perfect person to fill that congressional role.

Of course, Sidwell has his own agenda here. You can bet Sidwell views Willow as someone he can control, so he’s got shady motives when it comes to pushing her toward this new job.

Sidwell has proven how much he loves to blackmail people and make threats. Willow may find herself backed into a corner down the road, so that’s something to keep in mind.

In the meantime, Willow seems poised to get more excited about this Congresswoman Cain possibility and the power it could bring her.

That should be music to Sidwell’s ears, so he may pressure Laura Collins (Genie Francis) to recommend Willow to the governor instead of Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) when it comes to Drew’s replacement.

GH fans know Willow’s drugging plot is keeping Drew silent and immobile, which is exactly what she needs right now. Drew’s life has already been stolen from him, but Willow may move forward with stealing his Congress seat next.

This should mark another victory for Willow, but her lucky streak can’t continue forever. There’ll come a point when Willow’s despicable actions will catch up with her, so she may be setting herself up for an even bigger fall with this Congress decision.

That could put Willow in the spotlight when her world comes crashing down sooner or later. Willow can’t be prosecuted again for shooting Drew that night, but she could certainly go down for what she’s doing to Drew now!

There’s also the matter of Willow framing Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) with a key to Drew’s place, stalking Baby Daisy Gilmore (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford) and all the other shady things she’s done.

Willow’s horrible actions may be exposed in a very public way somewhere down the line due to this Congress situation. Perhaps Willow’s decision to put herself out there like this will come back to bite her and put her custody rights in jeopardy.

Willow’s going to invite more scrutiny and could also find herself under Sidwell’s thumb, so taking over Drew’s spot may be a mistake in the end.
