In addition to Harmony’s sudden reappearance, Willow is struggling with her love triangle. She is in love with Michael and wants to be with him. However, she married Chase on his deathbed in order to grant his last wish. Of course, Chase was kept in the dark about Willow’s feelings for Michael. He still has no idea that Willow and Michael are together romantically. Each time that she was going to confess the truth, something also came up or there was a better time to break his heart.

It’s getting harder for Michael and Willow to keep their relationship a secret. Plus, she feels guilty about lying to Chase but keeps telling herself it was to protect him.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that all of these situations are piling up on Willow’s shoulders. She’s already overwhelmed, especially on the day of the party. While they are celebrating Wiley turning three years old, it is also the anniversary of her baby’s death. Van Etten told Soap Opera Digest,

“This is a loaded anniversary for Willow and it hits her really hard. And Michael knows Willow very well. He knows her better than he knows himself, in some ways. And so when she is in trouble, he is there by her side. These two have long-simmering feelings for each other.”

When Michael comforts Willow, their feelings will take over. They find it impossible to not act on how they feel about one another.

While Michael and Willow are giving into their feelings, Chase decides to make a grand gesture. He’s been hiding his recovery and can’t wait to show Willow that he’s standing on his own two feet. He approaches the gatehouse with Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) help, but the romantic recovery doesn’t go the way Chase imagined it in his mind.
