The gossip train asserts that someone in-the-know has claimed Executive Producer Frank Valentini has been busy fielding requests from a rather insistent leading man that he bring Sam (and Kelly) back to Port Charles. That might sound like a tall order, given that Sam is a dead woman, but anything is possible on GH.
For now, it’s pure speculation that this rumor even applies to Sam, but it’s hard to imagine who else it would be since the source is allegedly claiming the cast member pestering Valentini is a current leading man who was a partner to a former leading woman.
They also spoke of Valentini reaching out to said former leading woman and having to ‘eat crow’ and ask her to come back. But would Sam returning even mesh with current storylines?
Dante Still Loves Lulu
It sure does sound like Dominic Zamprogna (portrayer of Dante Falconeri) has been giving Valentini an earful, but I could be wrong. Might he be itching for Sam to return to inject more juice into Dante’s current story arc? He doesn’t exactly need it.
After all, two sons he can’t stop arguing with, a recent temporary promotion to Acting Police Commissioner, and love story waiting in the wings with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is plenty for the viewers to chew on. But Sam’s return sure could add some spice to his life.

GH Spoilers Tell a Different Story
Sure, Dante and Lulu declared their love for one another, but they also said neither of them were ready to explore anything but co-parenting and friendship.
Dante is still mourning Sam in the corners of his mind, and Lulu can’t seem to move past the way Dante treats her these days, nor their issues from the past — like him storming out and abandoning her and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) when he was struggling with PTSD.
So this means Dante might be ripe for the taking if Sam comes back, but it could also mean he will be torn between them both after more than a year of thinking Sam wasn’t an option and that Lulu eventually would be his path forward.
Drew Could Be on His Way Out

Another recent rumor has come to light suggesting a leading man is going to find the exit soon. While there has been much speculation about this being Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) or Robert Scorpio (the late Tristan Rogers), I’m also thinking it could be Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
If he is about to be chased out of town, killed, or even thrown in the slammer for one of his many crimes, it would make sense that Sam might return to swoop in and care for Emily ‘Scout’ Cain (Cosette Abinante).
Of course, I’ve been hoping for an exit from Drew leaving Scout in Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) custody. The seasoned attorney needs more going on in her life than saboteur exes and shifty legal pursuits. What are your thoughts?
Do you think the fans could finally get Sam back? Sound off in the comments, and keep checking back for more GH news and spoilers.
