General Hospital spoilers tease that as 2022 comes to a close it’s time to look back at some of the things that stood out in Port Charles, both the good and the not so good. Let’s dig in and discuss a storyline that just didn’t seem to work this year.
Last year on General Hospital, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) began a tentative romance after they bonded over the apparent death of Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Elizabeth happened on the scene right after Finn had thrown Peter down a staircase. Little did either of them know what would happen next.
Not long after, Finn and Elizabeth slowly began to bond and eventually started dating. But then it appeared as if someone was stalking Elizabeth and becoming more and more dangerous. As it turned out, Elizabeth was actually the culprit. A combination of exhaustion and sleeping pills made Elizabeth act out while sleepwalking. Once Elizabeth realized it was her, she committed herself so she could properly mourn the death of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth)
General Hospital Spoilers – Elizabeth Webber Continued To Lose Time!
Even after Elizabeth returned home she continued to lost time. She also began having flashbacks from her youth of another person hurt at the bottom of a staircase. She eventually realized that the woman she was seeing was Finn’s late wife. Apparently, Elizabeth’s father had an affair with Finn’s wife and Elizabeth confronted her, eventually causing the young woman’s death.
GH Spoilers – It’s All About Hamilton Finn!
If all of the above seems unnecessarily complicated, it’s because it is. And suddenly Elizabeth’s storyline became all about Finn. Finn’s role in the story didn’t help matters as he constantly tried to fix everything, even when Elizabeth asked him not to. Now that the story is known, perhaps both Elizabeth and Finn can both move on and put this whole mess behind them.
