After all, whenever there is a writer’s strike or production shutdown, it means fans could run out of new episodes. However, there is word that the powers that be have been proactive this time. Keep reading to find out the great news for GH fans.
Writer’s Strike Concern
GH spoilers reveal that there is another writer’s strike. Right now, all four soaps are still airing new episodes. Of course, the filming schedule for each soap is different. There is Days of Our Lives, who writes 6-8 months in advance the last time we checked. So, fans for that soap aren’t as worried.
GH Spoilers: Fans Worried
However, General Hospital is another story since storylines are written just a few weeks ahead. That means unless this writers’ strike is resolved, fans are understandably concerned. Now, last time, it was stated that some soaps used non-union writers. However, there seems to be a general agreement that the storylines were not very good at that time.
Proactive & Wise Decision
General Hospital spoilers reveal that a fan on Twitter posted some tidbits from a Vanna Live episode. Twitter user @Adelheide1121 shared that Frank Valentine has been proactive this time.
“James [Patrick Stuart, Valentin Cassadine] said that Frank [Valentini, executive producer] has been preparing for the writers’ strike by stockpiling scripts and that they are well set to ride out the strike as long as it lasts the typical length. If it went on 5 months or more than they would have to reevaluate.”

General Hospital Spoilers: What to Expect
One tidbit that was shared as well was that action spots are extremely expensive and not easy to do. They require a lot of choreography, coordination and the timing from everyone has to be just right. So, fans might not see very many action scenes.
Some other information that was shared by James was that he would love to have more scenes with Nicholas Alexander Chavez (Spencer Cassadine). Plus, Finola Hughes talked about Anna Devane, especially in light of her arrest. Hughes admitted that she has no idea what is in Anna’s future regarding her career.
