General Hospital Spoilers:Chase Can’t Stop Thinking About Willow – Is A Reunion Brewing?

General Hospital spoilers and updates pose the question, is Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in denial over his feelings for his ex, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen)?

Both Chase and Willow deny being any more than just good friends, but no one who sees them together believes them!

Chase Went Out Of His Way To Be Willow’s Rescuer

Chase went out of his way to be Willow’s rescuer starting with the accusations that she was the shooter of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), although of course, they were the truth.

Yet, he seemed to be blind to even the possibility that Willow could have been guilty; he constantly gave her the benefit of the doubt, and he seemed to be completely blinded!

It was if he thought Willow could do no wrong-he even got himself demoted from detective to patrolman because of his rogue investigations when, and up to, when Willow was on trial.

Chase didn’t even seem to remember how Willow had cheated on him when they were still married, him in a wheelchair and quite possibly dying; that’s when she went after Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson)!

Perhaps Chase rationalized that he was going to die anyway, so let Willow have her happiness with Michael-but luckily for him, his genius doctor brother Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) came up with a cure!

Remembering Good Times At The Boathouse

Then there was Willow and Chase at the boathouse, and even though Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) was told she misunderstood, their vibe was unmistakable.

The happy memories they were talking about is not when they were married, but when they lived together, and Michael was dating Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).

Michael and Willow were only married for a very short time, and that was during the period when Peter August (Wes Ramsey) had poisoned him.

And even though Willow denies it, Tracy probably read their body language during their witnessed encounter quite accurately, as did Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) when she found him at Willow’s house!

Perhaps Both Chase And Willow Are In Denial About Their Feelings For Each Other

Perhaps both Chase and Willow are in denial about their feelings for each other, considering they seem to have so much fun when they’re together.

Even Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) could see that Willow was still in love with Chase, even though she constantly denied it, could all of them be wrong?

And there was so much to read between the lines as well, when Willow offered him a job as her chief of staff in Washington, DC, far away from Port Charles, and with no political experience!

But then, Willow didn’t have any political experience either when Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) replaced Drew with her, to serve out his term.

It stands to reason why Willow and Chase are being misperceived-because the truth is, they’re probably not!
