General Hospital Star Ingo Rademacher’s Lawsuit Slammed By Critics

General Hospital star Ingo Rademacher’s (ex-Jasper Jacks) is not winning any new fans these days. In fact, the former daytime television star has received a lot of criticism for his lawsuit against the ABC network. As many fans can recall, Ingo was let go after failing to comply with the network’s vaccine mandate against COVID-19. Here’s what you need to know.

General Hospital Spoilers – Star Ingo Rademacher’s Lawsuit Slammed By Critics

New reports say that Ingo is asking the court to not allow the network to obtain documents from an organization called Protection of the Educational Rights of Kids after ABC issued a subpoena for them. If that weren’t enough, the actor also says that the network served the group because they believed it funded his lawsuit and that they might be trying to “destroy Ingo’s character.”

While there’s no doubt that Ingo was certainly a very popular star on the hit ABC soap, it seems like a lot of General Hospital fans simply aren’t buying what he is selling. A lot of comments have included, “While Ingo may personally believe that his body and it’s health is governed by a higher power, it does not give him the right to expose his fellow cast mates, crew, execs, etc. to a deadly virus. Just as everyone is allowed to feel and believe in what they choose, it’s also the expectation of those at ABC to ensure that their employees are as safe as possible from disease. If I was an actor on that set, I would feel that I have the right to protect myself and my loved ones at home. It’s extremely arrogant for those who refuse to vaccinate to not mind if they put others at risk. That is a selfish choice.”

G Spoilers – Critics Think Ingo Has Gone Too Far

Another critic wrote, “When you work for a private Corporation you have to follow the rules in most instances or you are out the door. The only exceptions to that rule are racial discrimination or sexual harassment. You would think that religious discrimination would be added to that list, but I’m sure there are plenty of Christians that still worked for ABC during the pandemic and they took the vaccine, so it would be hard to file even a class action lawsuit for religious discrimination.

It would be akin to Moslems that work at McDonalds filing lawsuits against McDonalds forbidding them to stop selling bacon on their burgers because their religion forbids them from eating or handling the meat. They’d simply be told to go work someplace else if they didn’t want to comply with them using pork products. I’m afraid Ingo is going to have a hard time working in the liberal Hollywood world anymore. He will be blacklisted.”

If that weren’t enough, another fan wrote, “I believe he has a right in his belief just as ABC has a right to require a vaccine mandate to protect fellow workers. If you don’t want the vaccine that’s fine then find another job more suitable to your beliefs. ABC gave ample advance warning plus issued the consequences of non-compliance. Ingo had a choice now to live with your choice. A lawsuit solves nothing just makes lawyers richer and he’s still out of a job. Even if he wins said lawsuit he still loses in the long run. Other employers may be leery to hire him.”
