General Hospital Star Kirsten Storms Celebrates New Chapter With Daughter Harper

It might be hard to believe, but this little cutie is growing up and right in front of our very own eyes, too! General Hospital star Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) couldn’t help but gush about her daughter and how much she’s grown in the last several years. That’s because the blonde little cutie is about to start a new chapter in her life: she’s going to Kindergarten! Here’s what Kirsten has to say.

Harper’s First Day of School

Sharing a photo of Harper at her new school’s playground, Kirsten wrote in the caption, “First day of kindergarten is tomorrow, but this little Bug had a great time at the “Welcome to School” party this morning. I can’t believe she’s starting elementary school – it feels like yesterday when she was learning to say “I luh you” to us. Now she is such a poised, insightful, imaginative little 5 year old who asks the most incredible questions and wants to understand and know everything. The world is yours little Bug. Soak it.”

Proud Mother Moment

Aww! The proud mother also gave credit where credit is due when it came to her outfit. Kirsten gave a huge shout out to her ex-husband Brandon Barash for picking out Harper’s adorable outfit. She said that he was responsible for the cute little corduroy jumper and the puffy sleeved top. We have to agree that Brandon did a great job selecting the outfit because Harper looked so adorable on her first day of school!

Just recently Kirsten and Brandon took their daughter out for a family dinner at the Black Bear Dinner outside of Los Angeles. It just happens to be one of their favorite breakfast, lunch and dinner spots. Even though they are no longer together, Kirsten and Brandon have done one heck of a job of setting the bar pretty high for other celebrity exes to follow. They make sure to do many things as a family just so little Harper could have both her mother and her father by her side. You gotta love to committed parents who put their child’s interests in front of their own, right? Love for the win!
