General Hospital alum Rebecca Budig may no longer be on the hit daytime television show, but that doesn’t mean she’s not busy. In fact, the beautiful brunette recently shared that she has a fun new job! The actress used to play Hayden Barnes in Port Charles.
According to Soap Opera Spy, Rebecca has been working on audiobooks called Folded Notes From High School. She’s one of the voices behind the recordings and according to her fans, they just can’t get enough of it! Folded Notes From High School is actually a popular novel by author Matt Boren.
The summary of the novel teases, “It’s 1991, and Tara Maureen Murphy is finally on top. A frightening cross between Regina George and Tracy Flick, Tara Maureen Murphy is any high school’s worst nightmare, bringing single-minded ambition, narcissism, manipulation, and jealousy to new extremes in this outrageous, satirical twist on the coming-of-age novel.”
A lot of people enjoy audiobooks, especially if they are on the go. If time is a problem, fans listen to them either on their way to work or in the car or even while they are cleaning on a Saturday afternoon at home. Audiobooks are also great for those still wanting to get to know a story while multi-tasking at the same time.
So far Rebecca hasn’t made any comments on whether or not she plans to come back to General Hospital anytime soon. But as soap opera fans know, anything can happen at anytime. The door is always open.
