General Hospital News – Jack Wagner Shares Heartbreak
Turning to Instagram, Jack Wagner shared a photo of his son Harrison as a young boy. And the General Hospital star poured out his heartbreak in the caption. As Jack reflected on his son’s death on June 6 last year, Wagner wrote, “My youngest, so pure, so perfect.” And the General Hospital actor added, “I love you Harrison, I miss you Harrison.”
But Jack also expressed empathy to other parents who mourn their children’s deaths. And he added, “My heart goes out to parents who have lost a child. There are No Words,” noted the General Hospital star. “So we cry. And Celebrate Harrison Hale Wagner 12/1/94-6/6/22.”
The General Hospital actor and his ex-wife Kristina mourned last year when Harrison was discovered dead at age 27. Their son’s death resulted from a drug overdose, according to Yahoo. But as the photo that Jack chose revealed, Wagner wanted to remember his son as a happy little boy enjoying hot dogs at a camp fire.

And just like her ex-husband, Kristina Wagner posted about her loss on Instagram. In a caption to a video, the General Hospital actress recalled, “We shot this video on Araby Trail. And here I am posting it on the first anniversary of Harrison’s death. His words are comforting to me.” The video shows Harrison sharing his thoughts on life.
And in the clip, Kristina’s and Jack’s son commented, “Everybody’s got pain and struggles in life. That’s why we get out of ourselves, whatever our God is, whatever our belief is outside of ourselves. We wish for an amazing life, open-mindedness, happiness, and love.” But despite the comfort of her son’s words, Kristina called it “brutally painful” to mourn his death.
However, the General Hospital star added, “I still believe in open mindedness, happiness, and love. And I still have hope for wishes come true. Thank you Harrison.” And Kristina joined with her ex-husband to arrange for a scholarship fund in their son’s name. The fund honors Harrison.

General Hospital News – Actors Create Scholarship To Honor Son
And on the scholarship’s website, the General Hospital stars explained why they create the fund. Because they wanted to “honor their son Harrison Wagner,” Jack and Kristina created the Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund. And the General Hospital stars remembered Harrison as a “bright, exuberant young man whose smile lit up any room he was in. He has left behind many men and family members who loved him deeply.”
But Jack and Kristina also poured out their emotions. And the General Hospital stars described themselves as “heartbroken” that their son “ultimately lost his battle with addiction.” As a result, they hope that “Harrison’s memory will live on through this scholarship.” And they shared that they want the fund used to assist “other young men” in getting help for “their addiction” who could not “otherwise afford it.”
