Steve Burton’s Custody Issues

The issues Burton has brought to the court’s attention concern the couple’s 11-year-old daughter, Brooklyn.

The two currently share joint legal and physical custody of the girl, an agreement that was established during their divorce in 2023.

Burton alleges that Sheree is interfering with his custody time. The daytime drama leading man is claiming that Sheree didn’t honor the agreement when she refused to give him Brooklyn in July.

As per TMZ, it was noted that Sheree “engaged in a pattern of unilateral decision making and deliberate obstruction that has effectively stripped Steve of his court-ordered parenting time.”

Burton alleges that instead of adhering to the custody schedule, his ex-wife enrolled Brooklyn in a six-week California program that conflicts with his time with his daughter.

This inhibited Burton from having vacation time with Brooklyn. 

The soap actor added that Sheree placed Brooklyn in the center of conflict for no reason, stating he “felt manipulated by her actions.”
