General Hospital spoilers reveal that William deVry (Julian Jerome) is trying to clear up what could have been a misunderstanding based on recent news reports.
The handsome and talented star has made it a (somewhat sassy) point to tell everyone this week in a tweet that “false information” is swirling around on social media and that GH has not, repeat has not, returned to filming.

This is what he tweeted: “Just a reminder. GH is EVENTUALLY going back to filming. Just some well intentioned , but false info out there. We don’t know when. But until it’s announced by actual GH production it’s all false info. Actors r not “production”. LOL. Pass THAT on. Xo to all. That includes u.” Well, if you were in doubt, let this be your ‘ahh snap’ moment, GH fans! That includes you!
General Hospital spoilers – Why isn’t GH back to filming yet?
Last week California Governor Gavin Newsom declared that production in the state could resume no sooner than June 12. Many began to do a happy dance, equating those words with, “filming will start.”
June 12th is three days away but there is a lot of preliminary work to be done before the studios can open. They must follow state guidelines in regard to coronavirus prevention safeguards as well as be creative in how they film, especially those steamy daytime drama love scenes that soaps are famous for!
General Hospital spoilers – William’s fans are grateful for his directness in addressing when GH will start filming again
William’s fans were quick to respond to his frank tweet with one person writing, “I thought June 12th was too good to be true!”
Another noted, “Going to be interesting seeing how they do socially distant love scenes.” And one fan put it all in perspective when they wrote, “Giving up hair coloring is one thing, but giving up GH is quite another!!!”

We don’t have to completely give up GH actually, just forego new episodes for the time being. Right now the show is airing its third week of vintage Nurses Ball episodes and next week the fans will be treated to a special theme week dedicated to CarSon.

Just want all contributing to the production and actors of GH to return to a safe work environment, no matter how long it takes to achieve the governor’s conditions. So glad William set the record straight as to the fact that filming has not started yet, nor have those involved received notice from an official source. Rumors about everything GH is going over the top do to the Covid 19 and hopefully spoiler sites will quite down a little until official notice is given so fans will not have to be upset when a certain dates near and filming has not begun. Another thing to take into consideration is that although filming starts, it will still be a little time before viewers will start seeing new episodes.
What is taking so long for GH to return? Don’t they want to?
