General Hospital Spoilers – Tajh Bellow’s College Education

The GH actor is a student at California State University – Los Angeles. His major is sociology. While many college students find it difficult to work and keep up with their studies, Tajh has remained dedicated. In fact, he explained back in February,

“These two ID’s (General Hospital and university badges) symbolize countless years of past dedication while representing the future and journey ahead. It’s never too late to pursue higher education, and it’s never too late to chase after your dreams. Maintaining a solid career as an actor, while concurrently studying Sociology has been tough AF; but it’s taught me the most valuable lesson. If there’s a will, there’s away.”

Sociology can be a tough subject, but it is priceless and important. We are thrilled that despite having a booming acting career, Tajh is still getting a post-secondary education. On Instagram, the General Hospital star revealed that California State University, Los Angeles Department of Sociology gave Tajh the Academic Excellence in Sociology Major Award. He wrote,

“My Beautiful Ancestors, Your sacrifice will not be nullified by #systematicracism and #systematicoppression. 19% of black men have graduate degrees. I’m not there yet but I will see this through; and with it, continue carrying the torch you left with me. I love you so much, and I have never been more thankful. Your Proud Descendant, Tajh”.

In addition to acting on General Hospital and being a college student, Tajh is involved with other projects. Earlier this year, he appeared on Disney’s Bunk’d. He is also a committed volunteer and with his school, gives back with Seeds Of Hope. The goal of the organization is to convert unused land into orchards and gardens. Then, they give the produce to families that can’t get nutritious food.
