Let’s just say that the fans have spoken! General Hospital viewers are now demanding this character be recast and let’s just say that they would rather see it happen sooner rather than later. Keep reading below for all the details you need to know.

General Hospital Viewers Are Demanding This Recast

Apparently, a lot of people are quite upset that Maxie Jones will no longer be on the canvas and believe that the character should be recast.

This is all because actress Kirsten Storms, who plays Maxie on the hit ABC soap, is not coming back to daytime television. 

For a lot of fans, they think this is quite unfair to actor Bradford Anderson, who plays Spinelli, and the child actors who no longer will have any screentime because of Kirsten’s decision not to return to General Hospital.

Of course, it didn’t take very long for many fans to have something to say about the matter.

Some even commented with, “May as well, I really like the current Maxie character but if she’s not coming back, by all means recast especially if there’s a story, they need to find out that Sidwell put poison in the face cream that put her in a coma.”

Another critic wrote, “Please cast an unknown for Maxie, who has the talent, to portray the essence of maxie is my vote. The maxie character has been missing for so long and is relevant to general hospital.”

Will Maxie Jones Ever Come Back?

“LuLu’s recast was done sooo well!! I have faith they can recast Maxie and bring back an entire area of the show that’s missed.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I will hate not seeing Spinelli! Bradford is one of my faves. I also really like the kid who plays James. They’ve tragically underutilized Georgie who should be part of the Scooby Doo crowd (the teens.) She and Charlotte could have a nice friendship that grows over the years.”

“With KS’ recent comments, I see no reason why they can’t recast Maxie with someone who could sign a long contract and stay onscreen for a while.”

Then again, GH fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
