While we patiently wait for new episodes of General Hospital, we thought we would take a stab at what we think may happen with some of our favorite characters in the coming year. This is all just for fun, while we wait for new shows to finally air. So let’s look at Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
General Hospital – Ousted?
Let’s start with the business side of Michael’s life. It’s no secret that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has been trying to get her son Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) to make a bid for the CEO position at ELQ that is currently inhabited by Michael. Ned will probably eventually make a play to take over, and he may very well succeed. Michael is distracted right now, with the return of Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). But even if Ned does take over, that doesn’t mean Michael is out for good. But it definitely looks like there will be some twists and turns as this story moves forward.
GH – Nelle Benson and Sasha Gilmore!
As viewers know, Michael has asked Nelle back to live at the Quartermaine mansion. He wants to keep an eye on the schemer, but his girlfriend, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has also accepted his invitation to move in with the Qs. This could certainly lead to some major fireworks. Sasha should watch her back because Nelle will definitely see her as a threat and could make it her mission to eliminate Sasha, Nelle has plans, and having Sasha around only complicates them.

General Hospital – The big reveal
Nelle still has one very big secret up her sleeve. Their baby, who Michael still believes to be dead, is actually Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theo Olsen). This secret seems ready to come out, but it probably won’t go according to Nelle’s plans. When the dust settles, Michael will get his son back and Nelle herself with either be back in prison or dead. She made a long list of enemies in Port Charles, so there is no way she gets any sort of happy ending. As for Michael, getting Wiley back will likely also change his romantic life.
GH – Enter Willow Tait
Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen) and Michael have been close for a long time, but Wiley’s true identity will impact them both profoundly. They will start inching toward each other and will likely become a family unit with Wiley before all is said and done. This will leave Sasha and Willow’s current boyfriend, Hamilton Chase (Josh Swickard) out in the cold. It’s going to be a year of change for Michael!

What do you think?
Will Michael remain as CEO of ELQ or will Ned and Tracy see that Ned is in charge? Will Nelle finally meet her maker or go back to Pentonville?
