General Hospital Wild Speculation: Brenda Returns To Exit With Sonny In The Spring

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Vanessa Marcil who played Brenda Barrett could be returning in the fall. It seems that things for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could spiral out of control with not only Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as well. Could Brenda claim Sonny’s heart again?

General Hospital Spoilers – Things With Carly Are Shakey

General Hospital’s Sonny has recently returned from a nine-month absence in Nixon Falls. Sonny was presumed dead for months because Nina kept quiet about his location. Meanwhile, Carly got into trouble with the mob and ended up having to marry Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to keep from getting killed. Jason and Carly ended up admitting that they have feelings for each other and allowed those feelings to morph into love. Suddenly, after Jason and Carly’s wedding was over, Sonny arrived home. Sonny did get there before the two of them slept together. However, feelings are hard to turn off, not only Carly and Jason’s but Sonny and Nina’s as well. Can Carly and Sonny survive?

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Has Unresolved Feelings But Can’t Forget

General Hospital’s Sonny has unresolved feelings for Nina but he cannot forget that she lied to him. Nina knew who Sonny was from the time they first met and she chose to lie. Sonny cannot be with a woman who could have such disregard for his feelings and his marriage. Even if Sonny and Carly don’t make it as a couple after all this time, Nina is not the answer. Sonny can never trust Nina after this no matter how hard he tries. Sonny is not the forgiving kind. Sonny demands loyalty and Nina cannot provide that.

General Hospital Spoilers – Brenda Barret Wanted Sonny Out Of The Mob

Now that General Hospital’s Sonny has been out of the mob for a while the new may wear off. What if Sonny decides he doesn’t want to be in the mob anymore? Could Sonny walk away and hand the business over to Jason? Could Sonny and Brenda finally be able to make a go of their relationship now that the mob could be out of the way? Sonny and Brenda married years ago and she left him because of his mob connections. If Sonny is going to be with anyone other than Carly, should it not be Brenda?

Sonny reuniting with Brenda would certainly be a point of contention for everyone. However, it is a toss-up who would be the most upset, Carly or Jasper Jax (Ingo Rademacher). It would only be fitting for Sonny to leave with his first love if he’s leaving at all.
