General Hospital’s Coby Ryan McLaughlin Joins Cast of Hawaii Five-O

For those who have missed the villainous character, Shiloh Archer, they can catch the actor behind it, Coby Ryan McLaughlin on an upcoming episode of CBS’ “Hawaii Five-O.” The episode is titled “Loa‘a pono ka ‘iole i ka pūnana,” which means the rat was caught right in the nest in Hawaii. It is set to air on January 10, 2020, at 8:00 PM.

In the episode, where McLaughlin is set to portray Luke, Lou Grover (Chi McBride) and Five-0 will investigate a murder committed at a private golf course where they will find a man who was frozen to death on a cryo-chamber in the locker room. Meanwhile, Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) goes with Danny Williams (Scott Caan) to find the father of the boy who’s been bullying Charlie Williams (Zach Sulzbach).

Other Daytime Actors Guest Stars On Hawaii Five-O

McLaughlin is just one of the many daytime actors who have guest-starred on “Hawaii Five-O. “General Hospital” co-star Ingo Rademacher has appeared on the show as Robert Coughlin, a government agent who wanted to bring Five-O down. Christopher Sean of “Days of Our Lives” also guest-starred on the show as the villain Gabriel Waincroft.

McLaughlin’s Run As Shiloh Archer

McLaughlin took on the role of a cult leader Shiloh Archer back in December 2019. When he arrived in Port Charles, he had a lot of plans for the town including getting some revenge on certain people. Before he left a few months ago, the character managed to rake in a lot of haters because of his spiteful behavior.

He’s come up against almost all characters in the soap. At first, he managed to easily get out of the mess he’s in but he eventually faced his comeuppance.

Hawaii Five-O Season 10

CBS’ “Hawaii Five-O” is currently on its 10th season. The story focuses on an elite task force that solves cases and wipes out crime on the islands. There have been several changes in the show’s cast members over the years. However, the two main characters are Naval officer turned cop Detective Steve McGarrett and ex-New Jersey cop Detective Danny Williams. O’Loughlin and Caan originated the characters and they continue to remain on the show.

Their team is made up of Captain Lou Grover, the former head of Hawaii’s SWAT Unit, Tani Rey (Meaghan Rath), junior Reigns (Beulah Koale), Quinn Liu (Katrina Law), Adam Noshimuri (Ian Anthony Dale), and medical examiner Dr. Noelani Cunha (Kimee Balmilero)
