After Benard won his award for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series at the Daytime Emmy Awards last weekend, there was the assumption that his fellow cast mates were feeling slightly bitter over the win, if not jealous too.
But according to Lindstrom, that’s not the case at all. He insists the cast really do get along behind the scenes, regardless of what some people might assume. That’s when the actor decided to post a photo of himself and some of his General Hospital co-stars to prove that yes, everyone is getting along just fine!

Jon posted a photo with Maura, Maurice, and Laura and yes, everyone had their biggest smiles on. He wrote along with it: “In response to those who tend to think there’s a rivalry or competitiveness within our cast I offer you this.”
He then followed it up saying, “A typical day at work. Happy to be there. Happy to be with each other and making TV for those who want it. We couldn’t be happier for @MauriceBenard. And @HayleyErin and @MaxGail and @patriciabethune”

The post prompted General Hospital alum Hayley Erin (Kiki Jerome) to add a few comments of her own. She wrote: “I think you’re the bee’s knees and you MURDERED me. Nothing but good vibes with this crowd.”

Ha! And there you have it folks. It’s nothing but love for the cast and crew on the set of General Hospital and we couldn’t be any happier for them. It’s so great to see our favorite daytime television stars getting along so well off-screen.
