Even though William obviously plays the character on the small screen, a lot of General Hospital viewers have taken the breakup to heart and have put the blame on the actor!
William, for his part, has had enough of all the social media hate and has taken upon himself to defend his good name on Twitter. After all, he plays a fictional character on a fictional show and doesn’t deserve any of the online bullyings he has so far received from fans who have been viciously attacking him to no end.

William wrote, “Listen. Some of you think I block u cause i don’t love #Julexis ? That is preposterous. Look in the mirror. Your hateful or misguided tweets r what get u blocked.”
The actor also made it pretty clear that the decision was made by General Hospital’s writing team, and obviously not him. William is just rolling with the punches, so to speak.
Well when they start publicly saying there is no #Julexis because i won’t work with Nancy that’s where i go ape shit. Cause there is ZERO truth to that cray statement. I will defend Nancy and myself. That comment makes a victim of both. And it’s horse ——–

Yet, that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating that he simply didn’t want to work with his co-star, Nancy Lee Grahn. William says none of that is true. He continued, “I NEVER wanted #Julexis to go away. Never. But it did. I continue to do my job.”
