General Hospital spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havans) were once happily married for many years.
But things changed once Dante accepted an undercover assignment overseas that kept him away from Port Charles for months on end. Meanwhile Lulu needed Dante more than ever, especially when she was stabbed by Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
Eventually, Dante’s father Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) teamed up with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and they finally brought Dante home.
General Hospital Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Suffered From Severe Mental Trauma
During his time undercover, Dante was forced to do terrible things while undercover. It took a heavy toll on him. It was also insinuated that he was programmed to become violent based on certain triggers.
Rather than stay in Port Charles, Dante left to undergo treatment as a WSB facility. He wasn’t sure if he would ever recover so he filed for divorce and mailed the papers to Lulu without even speaking to her. Lulu reluctantly agreed to sign the papers, and their marriage ended with a whimper.
GH Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Returned To Down
Eventually, Dante returned to town. But it may have been prematurely. For a time, he could actually be controlled by the clicking sound of an ink pen, which Leisl O’Brecht (Kathleen Gati) took advantage of on more than one occasion.
It was Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) who was eventually able to take Dante down. Not much has been said about Dante’s PTDS nor his programming since then. This was also the beginning of Dante and Sam’s romance.
General Hospital Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Will Experience Rage Once Again!
With Sam now dead, Dante doesn’t have her calming influence anymore. Once he learns that Sam was murdered by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), all that rage could easily come rushing back. Dante might even try to kill Cyrus in a blind rage and if so, it would be difficult for anyone to stop him.
The only person who might stand a chance of getting Dante to stand down is Lulu, but even that isn’t a guarantee. Cyrus could easily find himself killed by Dante’s fury unleashed.
What do you think?
Will Dante and Lulu make their way back to each other? Is Dante’s violent behavior really a thing of the past? Should Cyrus worry about becoming a victim of Dante’s blind rage? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.
