General Hospital spoilers for the week of April 22, 2024 are here! Fans can expect Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to face off. Carly and John Cates’ (Adam Harrington) budding romance could also start to air.
Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) discovers she’s been deceived. Also, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will face a dilemma when she gets the report from the lab about Sonny’s bipolar medication!
General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome’s Investigation
GH spoilers for the week of April 22 reveal that Sonny’s bipolar medication has been tampered with. Sonny isn’t getting his bipolar medication, he’s taking placebos.
Sonny has also been drinking more, which only makes his behavior even worse. As Sonny becomes more unhinged, Ava will get the report back from the lab about the medication.
GH Spoilers – Medication Mess
Ava could alert Sonny as spiraling behavior will make her mission more difficult. While Sonny seems to only really trust Ava right now, anything could make him spin in the other direction.
Ava needs predictability to manipulate Sonny. The medication mess could put Ava in a tough dilemma.
On the other hand, Ava might not say anything as she would have to explain why she had the meds tested to begin with.
Of course, with Sonny becoming increasingly paranoid, Ava good land on Sonny’s bad side! Fans might recall that Ava tampered with medication before… with Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig).
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Corinthos’ Discovery
General Hospital spoilers for the week of April 22 reveal that Nina will make a discovery. This discovery could be that Ava isn’t helping fix Nina and Sonny’s marriage. Nina could also learn that Sonny hates Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) right now.
Speaking of Sonny, he will get into a fierce showdown with Carly. During the face-off, Carly could accuse Sonny of having John beaten up.
Sonny might throw Carly spending the night at John’s hotel room in her face. Nina sure was quick to trot off in her stilettos to tell others about her towel discovery!

I don’t see why telling Sonny she took his medication when she could not sleep should be a problem. She noticed there were not effects and became suspicious. If anything I would think he would be grateful if she told him the results.
No he won’t. He’ll accuse her of switching out his meds. She switched Morgan’s, so why not Sonny’s. You might say she killed Morgan. And now she’s trying to the same to Sonny, so that maybe he’ll kill somebody.
You two are both right, what she should do is go to Carly, or Dante and explain exactly what happened !! I think I read somewhere that Ava does confide in someone about the Meds., and I think it was Carly!! This storyline has been going way to long, it’s about time something should happen about Sonny and his Meds!! I hope it’s Dante that solves this with Ava’s Help, this way she can’t be blamed !! I’m hoping Ava is really wanting a relationship with Sonny, and the only way is to get him back on his meds!!
