General Hospital viewers will remember the night that Sonny got his memories back and came home to Port Charles, he nearly walked in on Carly and Jason consummating their marriage! General Hospital viewers will remember that Sonny and Nina never went that far – although “Mike” tried – Nina pushed him away and tried to get him to remember his past, he didn’t want to! Carly and Jason’s repressed romantic feelings had resurfaced, after pushing them down for years, and Carly told their family and friends that it would be a real marriage, with “all the bells and whistles”! Yet when she finds out Sonny and Nina fell in love in Nixon Falls when he didn’t know who he was or who was waiting for him, she kicks him to the curb!

General Hospital viewers, even those who are dyed in the wool Carly fans can see how hypocritical Carly is being by not giving Sonny the benefit of the doubt. Carly fully believes that Sonny would be lying if he told her he and Nina never slept together in Nixon Falls, but her own presumptions took precedence over his explanations! General Hospital viewers know that Sonny didn’t have a snowball’s chance in the fireplace to even try to explain, Carly was tuning out everything he tried to say to her anyway. Maybe that’s because she has never let go of her romantic obsession with Jason – after tearing into Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) over her testimony at the Corinthos compound, she went out and talked to Jason!

Longtime General Hospital viewers know the love story of Jason and Carly, and newer viewers know it through the numerous flashbacks that were aired. Carly was in love with the late Jason long before Sonny ever came to Port Charles, but she was the one who broke Jason’s heart when she left him for the new exciting mobster! Carly as a much younger woman seemed to be a danger junkie and made as much trouble as her adopted sister Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) – maybe that’s why she hated Nelle so much! Perhaps Carly knows deep down if she and Jason had not been interrupted by Sonny’s return from “the dead” that her lust for Jason was, and probably still is much deeper than her love for Sonny!

GH Spoilers – Jason Morgan In The Sky With A Diamond
It is plain to General Hospital viewers that Carly has not moved on from Jason over the years, and perhaps she never will! The night she kicked Sonny out and talked to Jason in the stars, she later went to the footbridge where she and Jason had gone to before their invalid marriage. Perhaps she was thinking of Jason in the sky with a diamond, and indeed the diamond he’d put on her finger was a rock! General Hospital viewers won’t be surprised if now Carly transfers that years-long obsession to his twin, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) who interrupted her soliloquy on the footbridge!

not the same, Sony knew about Jason and the why's and what it turned into. Sonny was not truthful with Carly. he did not say he fell in love with Nina while he thought his name was Mike.
Search yourself Carly and go and get your husband
He never once threw you out. God said forgiveness comes from his heart . Sonny Catholic and believes in God he never did nothing wrong . But you married Jason and he didn't kick you out.
So forgiveness you need for him . Us he had Amenisa he didn't know who he was . It's Nina you should be mad at. Check your self Carly and pray .

Sonny & Carly are deeply, truly in love. No matter what gets throwed at them they come out together. Married 5 times.
I think Carly is more hurt because Sonny didn’t tell her from the beginning. He could have told her when she told him about her and Jason but she was blindsided and humiliated in court. He had plenty of opportunities to tell her!!!so her hurt is justified!!!
Carly never once told Sonny that deep down she was and still in love with Jason ! She told Sonny he was the man that she truly loved. And the reason why she turn to Jason was because she thought he was dead ! Which is a lie. Sonny on the other hand did not know who he was. Sonny has mental issues so he needs therapy to bring out how he loves Nina and how he loves Carly,and différente ! Carly knows the difference between her love for Jason and her love for Sonny. Carly I like because she's à strong woman,but the part I dislike is that she has always been à hypocrite ! She could do but don't do it to her ! I don't want Sonny with Nina neither,he needs someone new !
Carly would have understood the situation with him not knowing who he was in Nixon Falls but when he came home and kept the secret about Nina that was the hurtful part. How would you feel??? Sonny brought this on himself!!!Let him deal with it!!!!!
I agree with you Sonny needs professional counseling, but I disagree with Sonny & Carly being over. Theirs is a enduring true love( married 5 times)
I don’t want Sonny with Nina, that’s not a good matchup, but Sonny needs to kick Carly’s but to the curb! He will have no problem finding another woman that is not in love with an old flame! Sonny go home kick her out of the house take over the mob and be the real Sonny Corinthos again. We all love Sonny❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
They never told him the complete truth. Are we watching the same show.
And this is the crust of the matter, he did not tell her and he had ample opportunity. They for vastly different reasons were in love with other people because of the situation. This falls squarely on Sonny and Carly is right to be steaming angry. This entire storyline could have been avoided if only Nina was truthful. She is a sicko and should take a break and get out of Sonny's life,
Go on a long vacation, what is the purpose of her storyline today, but a distraction. And it has never been proven that Nelle is really her daughter. No DNA taking when supposedly Nelle's body was found.
I like Sonny and Carly and hope they find there way back. It was Sonny who always made a big deal about being honest and upfront and he totally went against his own doctrine.
Let's hope Jason has a change of heart, get vaccinated and get back to the show. It's a huge void without him. Cameron is a great actor, but he is not the original Drew who played the role perfectly. Nicholas, the original should return, this recast looks as young as his son. Many blunders in recasting, what was the purpose of killing Franco and coming back as who Austin?
