GH Spoilers: Gregory Wants To Buy The Invader To Win Jackie Back

General Hospital: Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison)General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) wants to buy The Invader as a grand gesture to win Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) back! He and Alexis Davis (temporarily Stephanie Erb) will argue over this in an upcoming episode of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – The Invader Isn’t Alexis Davis’ To Sell

Even though Alexis is running and managing The Invader, she isn’t the owner, and it isn’t hers to sell – it’s kind of like being the manager of a franchise. She can hire, she can fire, she can accept articles or turn them down from freelance writers, she can decide what is going to go in the paper. She can likely even redecorate or order office supplies and furniture on an expense account; but she cannot sell the paper because it isn’t hers to sell.

Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) moved to San Francisco to take over the west coast operations of the Llanview Lord family’s paper The Banner but he still owns The Invader. Gregory approaches her to buy The Invader as a grand gesture to win Jackie back, but Alexis explains to him it isn’t hers to sell!

GH Spoilers – Jackie Templeton Is A Famous Reporter, Her Own Paper Would Impress Her

Gregory argues that Jackie Templeton is a very famous reporter and if Gregory could buy her a paper he thinks that it would impress her. They have been married for many years and have been going through separation, and he doesn’t want to divorce; he’s tried everything else in a romantic sense to win her back. Alexis has sympathy for him but she doesn’t think that he can win Jackie back by buying her a paper; she is a woman so she could give advice! She doesn’t know too much about Gregory either other than that he and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) didn’t get along for many years, revealing they had dated for a while. Greg didn’t know that – he and Finn weren’t communicating for many years although they are reconciled now.

General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis Davis Asks Gregory Finn About Communication

Alexis suggests that since she and Jackie have being communicators in common, maybe they just aren’t communicating properly – there is a way to do it without inciting strong emotions. She’s no expert, seeing she’s never had successful relationships and the one man she did feel was her soulmate was murdered. Now it’s Greg who shows compassion and understanding, and Alexis finds him very expressive in doing so!

Alexis knows from her time with Finn that Greg went through being widowed, although the circumstances were much different. Alexis also lost the father of her oldest daughter to a gruesome death, and didn’t want to admit she grieved for Julian Jerome (William DeVry).

GH Spoilers – Alexis Davis Speaks To Jackie Templeton Always Being Career Focused

Greg starts talking about some of his and Jackie’s marital problems and on is that she has always seemed to be more focused on her career than on him! Alexis can relate – even though she made time for her daughters, she was always much more focused on her law career than her ex-husbands. She just kind of figured they were big boys and could take care of themselves, although there were other complex issues that caused the relationships to implode. The two of them are actually becoming fast friends – and the conversation calms when Alexis has an idea. She could use Jackie at her paper, since Alexis is a newbie; maybe she could be persuaded to work with her and come back to Port Charles!
