According to the General Hospital spoilers, Sonny Corinthos started drinking again. But there’s hope for this storyline. Nina could be the one who could help him. This was brought up on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards.
The user Jay Trotter proposed a new theory. They suggested that Sonny’s storyline is focused too much on his mental health and medication.
There needs to be more focus on his increased drinking, which hasn’t helped his outbursts. Nina could help Sonny escape this darkness since she’s a bright spot in his dark life.
“Nina had a positive effect on Sonny. He was never happier, peaceful, and rational than with her. They were a lovely couple. She is the key to getting through to him. Carly should put her pride to the side and go to Nina to help. She got Sonny back on his meds the last time too,” one fan too.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) is aware his medication isn’t nearly regulated. But she hasn’t shared this important information with him.

The General Hospital spoilers suggest Sonny’s drinking isn’t the problem. It’s what’s coming to him. Sonny committed many crimes when he was fully medicated and sober. The storyline suggests that something bad is coming his way.
“The key to helping Sonny is…..Sonny. Sonny has not been himself since Nixon Falls. He has engaged in a pity party and pushed away the people who love him and have always had his back, so to speak,” one user mused.

SICK of the enormous pity party Sonny is on! EVERYBODY is a problem but him. I believe the only woman that can “help” him is Carly. She suspected immediately he was off his meds (when in fact they are being tampered with) and this is the major reason for his behaviors + the drinking! Just let someone figure out what’s wrong with the twit and move on!
