GH Spoilers: Liesl Questions Nina’s Motives – Love For Sonny, Or Hate For Carly?

General Hospital: Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati)General Hospital spoilers tease that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will question her niece Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) motives in helping Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in an upcoming episode of General Hospital. She’ll want to know whether Nina’s helping because she loves Sonny or because she hates Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright)!

General Hospital Spoilers – Again Nina Reeves Tried To Tell Carly Corinthos Something Important And She Ignored Her

General Hospital viewers will remember that again Nina tried to tell Carly something important about Sonny, and Carly blew her off and ignored her! Carly being Carly, and always right while Nina is always wrong, took the position of being a mind reader, not allowing Nina to tell her Sonny’s off his meds and at General Hospital! True, Nina should learn to be a little more direct and not let Carly have a word in edgewise but even if she had told Carly, Carly would have not believed her and not checked things out!

Because of Carly’s obvious lack of care for Sonny’s mental health and wellbeing that she displayed through that little stunt at the yoga class, Sonny didn’t wait for his doctor and got on the elevator and left! There are many who can tell that Sonny’s “off” – including Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) but Sonny has skillfully avoided their questions and not let on he’s in a manic phase.

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves May Take Desperate Measures To Get Sonny Corinthos The Help He Needs

General Hospital viewers will recall that Nina called her cousin Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to ask for help when she was in Sonny’s home obviously in a manic phase. She talked him into going to General Hospital and getting his prescription filled, and he was supposed to wait for his doctor but he got tired of waiting, and by that time Nina had left, after he said he would be okay.

It’s a good thing that Britt knows about Sonny’s issues, because as co-Chief of Staff she will obviously be informed about a manic patient gone missing in action, although she unfortunately was otherwise occupied when he left the examining room. If Nina cannot get Carly’s attention and no one else among his family and friends takes her seriously, at least Britt can help – if she had to; Nina would be willing to get Sonny in the psych ward to avoid hurting himself! Nina would never forgive herself if Avery Jerome- Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) or Donna Corinthos (Arya and Ayla Dormiani) were hurt or neglected unintentionally by their father in a manic phase!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Cares – Carly Corinthos Just Stares; Liesl Obrecht Gets That!

General Hospital viewers know that Nina cares when Carly just stares and doesn’t take anything she tries to tell her about Sonny seriously, and Liesl gets that when she questions Nina’s motives. Snarly Carly is not the most caring and compassionate person in the world by any stretch of the imagination, unless there’s something in it for her, even refusing to let Ava Cassadine (Maura West) take back Avery!

Carly thinks she’s acting in Avery’s best interest when the custody agreement is with Sonny, not with her, while at the same time considering divorce from Sonny while hanging onto Avery! General Hospital viewers know that Liesl is familiar with that side of Carly – especially when her daughter Britt has been hurt too, having staked a similar claim on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as she has on Avery! But Liesl questions Nina about her motives for helping Sonny for Nina’s own good; she wants her to really take a good look inside and ask herself this question; does she love Sonny more than she hates Carly?

Carly is not a nice person and never was.

I think if a woman had been so devious to me keeping my loved one away for so long, I wouldn’t listen to anything she had to say either. She would never be my friend. If Nina is so concerned, why not approach Phyllis or one of Sonny’s children. But, no, try to talk to the one person who deems you persona non grata, the person who feels totally devastated. The writers are preparing us for the “Willow is Nina’s long lost child” and making the conflict more exciting with this animosity between the two grand moms. A little tension between Willow, Michael and Nina doesn’t hurt either. I go with the gearing up scenario and how will they eventually accept each other!? It’s a drama to entertain and infuriate and make us love those who are skilled enough to affect make the viewer react. I love each actor and appreciate his/her part of the drama.
