Even though it hasn’t happened yet, the storyline is getting closer to that point. It is teased that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) sets up Peter’s downfall. The only bargaining chip she has is the baby and it just might be powerful enough to take him down for good.

GH spoilers reveal that Peter and Maxie planned a double wedding with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). However, unexpected bombshells start dropping. While it was devastating and stressful for Maxie, it was important that she learned the truth before marrying Peter. There was speculation that Peter would face the consequences, either by prison or death, but that hasn’t happened yet. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Peter went to Maxie’s door and pounded on it. He demanded to be let in. He wasn’t happy to learn the locks had been changed. He also made it clear that he will always be linked to Maxie because of the baby. She let him know that he would have no part of the child’s life.

She also made a promise that she would do whatever is necessary to protect her baby. Maxie knows that the only way to secure Peter’s downfall might be to get attached to him again. She might have to take a few short-term risks in order to secure long-term peace of mind. She knows that the one way to get to Peter is through the baby.

GH Spoilers – Ultimate Bargaining Chip

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, co-head writers Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor teased what to expect in spring 2021. Regarding Peter and Maxie, it was stated that Maxie might have to use the baby as a weapon.

“Maxie has a very fine line to walk going into spring. She sees Peter for who he is, but pushing him too hard, too fast, she knows may result in him channeling the worst of his bloodline. Maxie knows she has the ultimate bargaining chip with Peter in the form of their unborn child and she knows she can use that as an opportunity to trip [him] up and perhaps bring about his ultimate downfall.”

      I hope that in the end the situation with Peter and Maxie will get better. I hope that Peter will come through for Maxie and Lou. Peter wants to be a good father to Lou. He does not want her to feel badly about him being her father. I hope that Lou will be alright. I hope that the situation with Peter will be taken in a positive direction. Peter can overcome being Alex and Faison's son because evil genes do not exist. Alex is Anna's identical twin sister and has the same DNA practically. Lou will have the same genetics as Peter. I do not think that she will have to be concerned about her genetics because she will be loved by Maxie and Peter.
