GH Spoilers: Nikolas Seeks Alexis’ Advice, How To Make Amends With Spencer?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will seek Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) advice. He’ll want to know how he can make amends with his son Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

General Hospital Spoilers – Torn Apart

Nikolas knows and understands very well that the rift between him and his son is largely his fault, and he wishes he could go back and change things. It started back over five years ago when Spencer was still a young boy, and he kept him out of the loop when he faked his death. Alexis remembers that time very well, the preteen boy fighting a battle with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) over the family fortune.

Then his grandmother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) took over and sent him to school in France, mostly out of protection from Valentin, who she considered a danger. During those years Spencer grew up, but didn’t necessarily mature as much as she had wished he had.

GH Spoilers – Lost Years, Lost Opportunities

Nikolas knows there are many lost years and lost opportunities with his son, and that’s not the half of it and he knows it well. It’s embarrassing to admit to one’s aunt that he slept with his son’s girlfriend and alienated both his son and his wife in the process. Plus Spencer still holds the grudge against Ava Cassadine (Maura West) that he has for years, since she got her face fixed instead of helping him fight Valentin. Alexis, kindly, is non-judgmental although a bit shocked that Nikolas fell for Esmé Prince’s manipulations, weak or not; her main concern for both him and Spencer is her age. Is he sure Esmé was as old as she said she was; did he or Spencer ever see a driver’s license or birth certificate?

General Hospital Spoilers – Family Counseling?

As long as Spencer is in Pentonville, Nikolas has a captive audience for whatever he has to say, but that doesn’t mean Spencer will listen. Plus, Alexis reminds him, Spencer may choose not to put Nikolas on his visitor’s list and he may not be able to visit. Alexis suggests when Spencer is released to see if he’d be willing to go to family counseling, perhaps Laura will be home by that time and can convince him.

Nikolas agrees that it might be worth a shot, but Spencer is stubborn and can be very prideful in the wrong way. It might take a lot for Spencer to consent to any kind of counseling.
