‘GH’ Spoilers Weekly Update May 18-22: Alexis & Ava Connect, Britt’s Complication, Nathan Summoned

General Hospital spoilers are in for the week of May 18, 2026. Expect Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to reach out to Ava Jerome (Maura West).

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) faces a complication. Plus, Cassius Faison aka fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is summoned. Keep reading to find out what is coming up in the ABC soap opera.

Jonathan Bennett Debuts

Let’s start off with some interesting news. In Monday’s episode, expect to see a new face in Port Charles. Jonathan Bennett will be playing Detective Joe Fitzpatrick.

It is teased that he could make an arrest in Port Charles. However, it is also stated that on Tuesday, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has to set the new detective straight. 

Nathan West Summoned

Over with fake Nathan, he will get summoned by Dante. The commissioner isn’t too pleased with Nathan taking it upon himself to cover for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).

Dante also isn’t too happy that fake Nathan pushed Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) to keep such an important secret. 

Now that Dante has decided to destroy the evidence, he might warn Nathan.

This was his only and last chance. One more wrong move and Nathan could find himself without a job.

On the other hand, soap cops always seem to keep each other’s secrets, so they could have an unexpected alliance. By Friday, Nathan issues a plea. 

Britt Westbourne’s Complication

General Hospital spoilers for the week of May 18 reveal that Britt makes a huge decision.

However, a bit later in the week, she faces some kind of complication.

It is also stated that she makes a huge decision, which makes me worry. The doctor’s good decisions usually backfire! 

What Else to Expect

As for what else to expect, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) shares concerning news.

The mayor tells Dante and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could be in more danger than they realized. So, what’s the plan then?

In captivity, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) makes a grim discovery. I wonder if the blonde will find a body. If so, who does it belong to, and does Cassius know about it?

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) questions Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). I’m actually enjoying the dynamic between Justine and Sonny. 

Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) faces a crisis.

The college student will fret to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) about something really being wrong with her.

Of course, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will be right there to offer his support.

However, I wonder how this could affect Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) showcase.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) pitches a new plan. However, later in the week, Valentin clashes with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

That same day, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) gets a shock. 

Alexis seeks some help from Ava. Oh, this is interesting. I liked their scenes together during Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) “digital detox”. 

Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) pays a visit to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott). Ethan will also reassure Lulu. Speaking of Lulu, she makes a bold move. 

Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) delivers good news. I wonder, good news for whom?
