Hallmark Actor Cameron Mathison Filming Christmas Movie With 90210 Star

Popular Hallmark actor Cameron Mathison recently announced on his Instagram Story that he is filming a Christmas movie with 90210 star Jennie Garth. The two actors previously starred together in the 2013 film Holidaze for ABC Family. While no official announcement has been made as yet, read on to find out what we know right now.

Cameron posted a series of videos to his Instagram Story, updating his fans. He said he was up in Vancouver, about to shoot another Christmas movie with the “amazing Jennie Garth.” Saying he was “super excited about it,” Mathison added that this was a bit of a calm before the storm. He said as they start shooting it gets pretty intense.

Cameron explained that he is shooting 15 days worth of work in 12 days to make it back in time for his role on General Hospital. Saying there is so much going on, he added that he will keep fans updated.

Hallmark Channel News – Jennie Garth Hints About The Movie On Instagram

As for Jennie Garth, so far, she has made no mention about the Christmas movie on Instagram. However, two days prior to Cameron’s post she did make a cryptic IG post.

Sharing an image of herself dressed beautifully in white, Jennie wrote, “Lord knows I love being a bride! How many times have I worn a wedding dress? Does anybody know? Grateful for my wild life.”

As the image was tagged in Vancouver, where Cameron was getting ready to film a new movie, the post is obviously related. Meanwhile, Mathison made a cryptic comment on the post, with two heart-eyes emojis.
Jennie is best known for her role as Kelly Taylor on Beverley Hills, 90210. Other credits include Your Family of Your Life, The Mick, Mystery Girls, A Christmas Wedding Tail, Accidentally in Love, What I Like About You, Secret Santa, The Street, Melrose Place, A Brand New Life and many more. Of course, as mentioned above, Garth also starred in the 2013 film Holidaze with Mathison.

Hallmark Channel News – Which Hallmark Christmas Movie?

So far, it is unclear which Christmas movie Cameron is referring to. However, Twitter user @SleepyKittyPaw suggests that it is the film Christmas is You. That movie is scheduled to start filming this week in the Vancouver region and does sound likely.

In the meantime, Cameron is a busy actor as he recently took on a new role on General Hospital. He is playing a favorite character, Drew Cain. Fans of the medical soap will remember that Cain allegedly “died” in 2019.

Shortly before his debut, Mathison revealed he would be rebooting the popular character. He told TV Insider at the time that he watched old clips on YouTube when Billy Miller was in the role, to get an idea of how the character was portrayed in the past.

While Mathison is obviously being kept very busy right now, his fans can rest assured that they will see plenty more of him in the future. They can catch him on General Hospital and in the new, upcoming Christmas movie on the Hallmark Channel.
