Ryan Paevey, formerly known as Nathan West on “General Hospital,” lands gig in another Hallmark movie. It was announced at the TCA 2019 event over the past weekend that Paevey will play the lead role in the film titled “Christmas At The Plaza.” So far, the details about the movie including the other cast members, plot, writer, director, and so on are still under wraps.
Before Paevey became an accomplished actor, he started out as a model. He worked as a double for Robin Thicke during the production of Thicke’s “Sex Therapy” music video. He modeled for Izod, Corona, and more. After getting a lot of encouragement to try his hand at acting, he managed to land a gig on “General Hospital” as Nathan West in 2013.
The American model and actor will also star in an upcoming movie by Hallmark titled “A Summer Romance” with Erin Krakow of “When Calls the Heart.” In the preview that Krakow shared on her Instagram, her character will tell Paevey’s alter ego that she doesn’t want to start over. While they spend time together as she teaches him how to ride a horse, it seems like the pair will find love in each other by the end of the film.
“A Summer Romance” is part of Hallmark’s annual Summer Nights programming event where it features six original movies. The event started with “Rome in Love,” which starred Italia Ricci of “Chasing Life” and Peter Porte of “The Young and the Restless.”
