General Hospital star Steve Burton was born Jack Steven Burton on June 28, 1970. Steve was named after his father, Jack Burton, and was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. However, Steve grew up outside of Cleveland Ohio before moving to Hollywood, California. Steve graduated from high school in Beverly Hill’s California. Steve married his wife Sheree Gustin on January 16, 1999, and the couple has three children.

Steve has performed in movies and television shows as well as voices in video games. However, Steve is best known for his role as Jason on General Hospital. Steve had roles on Days of Our Lives and General Hospital Night Shift as well. Steve also played Dylan McAvoy during his last break from General Hospital but rejoined GH in 2017. Steve has won Emmys for both General Hospital and his role in The Young and The Restless.

What Is So Great About Jason Morgan?

Up until 2012, Jason Morgan was the ultimate hitman for the Corinthos Organization. Jason had taken over the Organization more than once. Jason had protected Sonny’s family with his life. Jason claimed Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) baby to keep Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) from divorcing him. Jason took care of Sonny’s children. Jason helped raise Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Jason has helped Sonny get through his bipolar issues several times. Jason has been the muscle of the Corinthos’ Organization for years. Jason even married Carly when Sonny was presumed dead to keep her and Sonny’s family safe. However, the Jason that returned in 2017 is not the same.

What Are Steve Burton’s Other Interests?

General Hospital’s Steve has other interests as well. Steve has his own business that offers videos and supplements to help people to lose weight. Steve started his nutrition business a few years ago. Steve has even shown his children using the products to prove that they are safe to be consumed by children. Steve also has his “Stone Cold and The Jackal” podcasts and he does appearances with Bradford Anderson who plays Damien Spinelli. Steve keeps busy no matter what business he is working with. However, some rumors suggest that he may be leaving the role of Jason once again. Steve has plenty to keep him busy if he does leave, but some suggest that he may go back to The Young And The Restless as well.

Steve is rumored to be leaving around the same time as Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Since Jax is slatted to disappear about November 22nd time will tell if Steve is out as well.
