The celebration of a new year is always a reason to surround yourself with loved ones, have a midnight kiss with your significant other, or spend a vacation somewhere! General Hospital actors and actresses have been on their holiday break, so their New Year’s Eve option was widely available. Let’s take a look at how some of your favorite soap stars rang in the new year!

General Hospital News – Vacation

Some actors and actresses decided a much-needed vacation was in order! Michelle Stafford, the former Nina, shared the most adorable picture of her children in their hotel room! She and her family snuck off to the famous Mission Inn Hotel in Riverside, California. While one of your favorite real-life couples, Laura Wright (Carly) and Wes Ramsey (Peter), laughed their way into 2020 in their hotel room! Sofia Mattsson (Sasha) went on a vacation abroad for her new year’s night. Sofia spent her New Year’s Day visiting the city of beautiful Paris.

GH News – Mom Life

Emme Rylan (Lulu) and Kirsten Storms (Maxie) are not only mothers of young children on General Hospital, but also in real life! So, it is not surprising that they rang in their New Year’s the same way, living that mom life! Both actresses posted pictures on Instagram of their young daughters to wish everyone a happy new year and show how they were spending their night! How cute are those girls?

General Hospital News – Family Time

Ingo Rademacher (Jax) spent his New Year’s by going back to Hawaii. Hawaii is the hometown of Ingo’s wife and a place close to their hearts! It seems as if there is no place his family would rather be to celebrate New Year’s than Hawaii! Ohana is the most important after all. Jacklyn Zeman spent the New Year’s with her family as well. Jacklyn visited San Francisco to be with her family and she is just loving that grandma life. She posted a gorgeous photograph with her grandchild to celebrate family and love. Congratulations Jackie on your grandchild!

GH News – New Year’s Resolutions

While Parry Shen (Brad) did not let everyone know how he spent his New Year’s, he did suggest a possible New Year’s resolution for everyone! Parry wants the lines at Costco to become more efficient this year. To do this he would like people to make the resolution that they will organize their Costco carts by having all the barcodes facing up to scan. He is either honestly sharing what he found to be super helpful or just hates the long lines at Costco and trying to get the lines to go faster! Either way, it’s probable that someone will take this advice to heart because it is great advice.

Happy 2020! Still mulling over a New Year’s resolution? Well, I’m gonna throw out one to consider: Put all your Costco groceries with the UPC Codes FACING UP – and leave ‘em there to be zapped with the scanning gun. I was checked out with this cart in about 90 seconds (including payment and all)! It’s a win-win for all: the checkers, you & the folks in line. Imagine if we all did this! And don’t ask for any boxes — I keep these 3 collapsible containers in my trunk (3 for $21 on Amazon) and just plop the groceries in ‘em and drive off! If you have lots of items, I’d use 2 carts to take advantage of this speedy system if you have someone with you. But if you’re solo, the more you can have your UPC Codes face up, the faster we’ll all get though checkout!
