Over the weekend, speculations have started to spread that Hughes is leaving the daytime drama after an upcoming episode summary mentioned that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is leaving Port Charles for something.

“If the rumors of Finola Hughes are true and she is leaving — which I believe are false — will we see an Anna and Robert pairing again? If Anna leaves, I hope it is scripted that she moves to CA, closer to Robin,” the fan said in a tweet.

The actress’ response to the question was a brief, “Wha…?” Some fans were calmed down after reading the actress’ response. However, there were still those who were a bit worried.

There’s no indication that the actress is leaving the soap, which means fans can rest easy knowing that they will continue to see Anna in Port Charles.
