General Hospital spoilers imply that the Monday, February 9 episode was a very emotional one for Emma Scorpio-Drake, as she explained to Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) what was going on with her grandmother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
She also announced she was leaving Port Charles to go visit her mother, Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough), to explain the situation in person. Is Braedyn Bruner exiting the ABC soap?
Emma Scorpio-Drake’s Return Is Unclear
General Hospital spoilers note that Anna is in a mental health facility in France, and this isn’t something that Robin should be told over the phone.
As such, Emma is making the trek back to her parents’ place to do so. Gio offered to go with her; however, Emma said this was something she had to do on her own.
She also told Gio that she wasn’t sure when she’d be back – Gio made it clear he would wait for her and take care of Anna’s place in her absence. How long is Emma leaving for, exactly?

There’s been no official word from either General Hospital or Bruner regarding an exit, but the fact that Emma is going to be off canvas for an extended period seems fishy.
Could the role end up being recast? Then again, could this mean that Emma is leaving Port Charles for good?
At some point, Anna will come back, and the truth will be revealed about Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) kidnapping her and holding her captive at Wyndemere. So why would Emma stay away if her grandmother returns?
Could Emma’s exit be storyline-related? What if Emma leaves on a plane to visit Robin, but ends up disappearing? Could this be part of Cullum’s plan to bring down Anna?
Could Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) or potentially Peter August (last played by Wes Ramsey) be behind Emma’s disappearance? Fans will have to tune in to find out!

I really hope Jason comes back,he is why I enjoy General Hospital.I think Jason is a fantastic actor. General Hospital is a great soap opera,lots of great stories.
Just bc Anna is in the hospital there’s no reason for Emma to leave indefinitely, okay it’s look good to tell her mom that her mom is in the hospital. But too leave town when she has made a story line for herself with gio. And Trina and all the quartermaines. Gio kinda needs her but she’s the one that gets him in trouble
Has there been any more talk about Kimberly McCullough returning as Robin? I read something about it 10 days or so ago (not sure which GH site though) and just wondered if anyone out there also heard the same thing and/or has any additional info. Robin returning to the storyline with her mother in such a precarious situation wouldn’t be the least bit far-fetched.
Yes I would be very upset if she left. She is a good actress love her with Gio.

I didn’t like this Emma either, however she kinda grown on me and the original has retired from acting, she is a nurse now.

General Hospital, please wrap up one storyline completely before adding another one. I am tired of seeing Anna, crying and looking older than what she is.

I did not like that her passion lead to trouble for others. Otherwise she is okay in my opinion.
I would be happy if BB exited as Emma. From the get go, I felt like this actress was WAY too mature as Gio’s love interest. He was running around with Rocco and Danny a couple shows ago! Now, he and Emma hit the sheets more than any other couple on the canvas. You know, like Joss and the cop, or Joss and Vaughn. Portia got pregnant with a whole baby, and she wasn’t in bed as much as E and G. I think I digressed…

Braedyn had better not be departing GH. She is a large reason why I keep watching. She is absolutely beautiful and a remarably good actor. Her deprture would leave me bereft.
Love Braeden as Emma. Yes she needs to stay.
She’s a great actress & definitely has chemistry with Gio. Brooklyn Rae was terrific as a younger Emma, but Braeden is a perfect fit for a young adult. She has the same spunk as her mother & grandmother.
