Apparently, the Princess of Wales decided not to wear her engagement ring during her first royal engagement of 2026. And for those who have been paying attention, Kate almost always wears her wedding ring, regardless of what she is doing during her public appearances.

This, of course, has prompted a lot of people to wonder what might be going on behind closed doors as Kate Middleton knows that the world is going to always watch her and pay attention to the jewelry that she wears.

But then again, it’s been no secret that both Kate and her husband Prince William have been having a very hard time behind closed doors. For years now, it’s been suggested that William and Kate have been wanting to pull the plug on their marriage.

The only thing that stopped them, of course, was royal logistics and the fact that Kate Middleton was dealing with her cancer battle. But now that she’s out of the woods, it doesn’t look like her marriage is, either.
