General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that fans won’t be seeing Kirsten Storms for some time as the actress continues to recover from her brain surgery.
Fans may recall that Storm’s character, Maxie Jones, left for Texas in the soap’s July 19 episode. She shared touching moments with Louise August aka “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett bloom) before she left to visit her family. Her exit allowed the actress to rest and recover from her operation.
General Hospital News – Kristen Storms Brain Surgery
Last month, Kirsten Storms shared on Instagram about the procedure that was performed to remove a large cyst from her brain. The doctors had to open her skull to relieve the pressure and the surgery was done on the lower part of her brain. The actress clarified that the cyst that was removed was not cancerous. But she had to take some time off to recuperate.
The actress managed to inform the writers of the soap in advance regarding her operation, which led to her character being written off completely. Viewers know that Maxie thinks that he’s putting Louise in danger so keeping her distance is the best thing to do. Once Storms have completely healed, her character can return and reclaim her baby.
General Hospital Spoilers – For The Week Of August 2
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will receive encouragement and advice from Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). Austin may be concerned that Chase may be trying too hard or perhaps he’ll encourage him to improve his marriage with Willow Chase (Katelyn MacMullen).
Elsewhere, General Hospital spoilers show Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will think that there’s nothing she can do to stop Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) from getting closer to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). But she’ll still try to convince Curtis to remember that love they used to have.

Meanwhile, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will have a serious showdown with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). He’ll blame Carly for endangering their daughter.
As for Cameron Webber (William Lipton), he’ll defend Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) but will feel afterward that he hasn’t done enough. So, he’ll ask Jason to train him in boxing so he’ll be better prepared in case something similar happens in the future.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will have a video chat with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). Will Wiley see “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in the background during their conversation? If that happens, it’ll only be a matter of time before Carly learns that Sonny is alive. Not only that, Nina will have a lot of explaining to do.

They should have temporally replaced Maxie instead of writing her out. While Kirsten Storms recovers from her brain surgery.
You're right Angela. A temporary replacement would have been better and If K.S is out for very long they'll almost have to.
Or…and here's a thought. You could check your grammar police badge at the door and keep your mouth shut. This is a safe place to express views and opinions even if they differ from yours or mine. People should not have to worry about a misspelled word
or improperly placed coma bringing out the grammar vultures.
You need to do a spell check and reread what you write..
