General Hospital (GH) fans celebrated Kirsten Storms’ return to the ABC soap as Maxie Jones. Later, she finished filming her beyond unbelievable, superfast recovery and returned to Tennessee.
However, things seem less restful than she hoped when she got back. In fact, she seems afraid. Is she okay? Read on for more about it.
The Rather Scary Posts
On Instagram in the last few days, Kirsten shared a series of posts about how her peaceful time in Tennessee was shattered. Apparently, there’s a digital intruder.
One post arrived where she told her GH fans that she’s been hacked. The text overlay said, “I was not a technology person before – Hacked. This might ruin it for me indefinitely. Plz repost this.”

In that reel, she said that she “filed a police report with the Franklin PD.”
More Posts & Updates
Next up, she returned and the real-life Maxie Jones reiterated in another post that she reported it. The ABC soap star also said:
the Franklin PD – they just don’t have a cyber division and I’m worried about some internet issues I’m still having.

Then, she pleaded, “DM me if you know a cyber security specialist or something!”
Finally, on Sunday, she shared another one titled “Memories.” In her reel, General Hospital fans heard Kirsten Storms say, “Sorry I’m posting all these stories about this.”

It seems it’s been going on for a while, as she added, “I’ve kinda been sitting on this since December.” Then she added, “I think now that I’ve been back in Tennessee for like two weeks, and it’s not been figured out or handled.”
Freaking Out
Sounding a bit worried and irritated all at once, she then said she contacted some folks in the internet department, but they “reluctantly started doing some stuff to figure out her account.”
Unfortunately, she’s also feeling “freaked out a little bit.” That’s because she’s back in Tennessee where the problem seems to lie. So, she’s rather desperate for someone who’s a real “security person” to help her.
Of course, the last thing she needs is the terrifying thought that the hacker might be getting into her stuff, or potentially become a local stalker. Bear in mind, she wasn’t well with the brain cyst and old aneurysm issues.
Fans React
Well, her GH fans seem happy that she looked well after filming. However, many of them also grow increasingly worried now.
One follower penned, “This is so scary, Kirsten! I hope the Franklin police can track them down. You moved there for peace, you don’t deserve this stress!”
Here are a few more responses from the discussion:
- We have missed you so much. I’m glad you are feeling better and happy to hear you’re back on GH, but I am so sorry some low-life is trying to ruin your peace in TN. Stay strong, Maxie!”
- Please be careful everyone, don’t click any links if her account starts posting weird stuff. We love you Kirsten, stay safe!
- Must feel good being back in Tennessee, but I hope the Franklin PD catches whoever did this. You deserve a break and time to recharge.
Lots More Concern
As you can see, many folks love that Kirsten’s well enough to work again. However, that joy seems genuinely overshadowed by concern for her with this tech issue going on. After all, there are some crazies out there.
Hopefully, Franklin authorities get to the bottom of it so Kirsten Storms can get back to “resting and recharging” in the South.
