Maxie Does WHAT With Her Baby After All This On General Hospital?

General Hospital: Maxie JonesGeneral Hospital spoilers reveal Baby Bailey Louise is safe and sound after briefly having to put up with a Shakespearean monologue from her overly-dramatic father after he kidnapped her. So, um, no more worries about Weezy Faison?

General Hospital Spoilers – Maxie Jone’s Baby Mess Reaches New Heights

After a pregnancy that lasted more than a year and nearly nine more months of Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) trying to pass her baby off as Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) with all the wrong people knowing the truth, Maxie finally placed her baby in a little box at the fire hall knowing New York’s safe haven laws would make sure someone took care of her.

Really, Maxie, you dropped your baby off at the fire hall after an elaborate baby switching plot in which there was no baby to really switch because BLQ was never really pregnant? After all that? Days later, and all we can still manage to do is shake our heads.

GH Spoilers – Does Anyone Care About Maxie Jones?

Then, after dropping her baby off leaving an earring behind as a clue (as if her superspy Godmother wouldn’t have figured out what was going on anyway), the show goes on as if this storyline doesn’t exist. After all that action on Thursday, Maxie being kidnapped and missing thanks to the deranged Peter August (Wes Ramsey) didn’t even seem to register with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), who is supposed to be one of Maxie’s very best friends.

Instead, Sam just sat there listening to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) whine about her marriage for an hour when she could have been putting her detective skills to work to find Maxie. But nope, it had been a rough few days of Monia Q watching her kids, we guess, cause she needed to have a few drinks at the Metro Court bar and hear all of Carly’s problems because everyone has to hear all of Carly’s problems.

Make it make sense, GH. Have some continuity. Don’t give us a February sweeps story worthy of February sweeps and have all that good soapy action take place in one day and then forget it happened the next. That’s not how a soap works. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see if anyone cares to find Maxie or if they have all given up.
