Meet ‘General Hospital’ Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)The New Mobster in Port Charles

ABC General Hospital spoilers reveal that there’s an evil new villain in Port Charles and fans are intrigued. The show has been airing vintage encore episodes while it is on a filming hiatus but the most recent episodes are from the days prior to when it went off the air with new content.

These episodes have shown Cyrus Renault, played by Jeff Kober. He’s the new guy in town and his agenda is nothing short of nefarious. He is an evildoer of the first order, although whether he is in a category with Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) is yet to be seen!

General Hospital Spoilers – Veteran Actor Jeff Kober Plays Cyrus Renault

Jeff Kober has been tasked to play Cyrus Renault who, with his gray ponytail, is not exactly your typical bad guy, which makes him all the more menacing and scary. Kober has a long and distinguished resume which includes appearances on NCIS: Los Angeles and Sons of Anarchy and he has also appeared on Falcon Crest and China Beach.

Not much is known about Cyrus other than that he has a chip on his shoulder and is intent on taking over Port Charles as its resident bad guy.

This does not make Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) happy!

Cyrus has targeted Sonny and his family and now Sonny is out for revenge and payback. Somehow Cyrus managed to plan three attacks on Sonny and his loved ones all at the same time, all while he was sitting in a prison cell.

For the longest time no one knew who was plotting against Sonny and the town, but once Cyrus’ identity got it out, so did a few details about him.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Wants To Take Charge Of The Port Charles Waterways

Cyrus has a history with Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) who sent him to prison. She is now his puppet as he kidnapped her son TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellows) to blackmail her into releasing him from prison.

Now that he is free it is expected that he will ramp up the mob war and we will finally find out just what personal connection he has to the town.
