Slamming Tone Deaf Wealth
Nancy Lee Grahn is known to be very outspoken about anything she sees as an injustice. But notably, the party for Jenner wasn’t themed as she described it: “Let Them Eat Cake.”
Actually, it was James Bond-themed, but she was being super-sarcastic by referring to what was attributed to Marie Antoinette. She was rumored to have said that during the French Revolution when told that her subjects had no bread.
Slamming Zuckerberg
Sharing a photo on Instagram of Jenner, Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan, Grahn slammed them for not attending the Baby2Baby gala held on the same night. Actually, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended both events.

Meanwhile, it’s not clear whether Nancy with her net worth of about $3 million attended the gala. But, General Hospital fans know that Cameron Mathison was there.
In her caption, Nancy Lee Grahn wrote:
Kris, Mark and his wife whooped it up at Bezos’ “Let Them Eat Cake” party. All the best billionaires were there while our country is on fire, families are being denied food and ppl are about to die because they can’t afford their healthcare.
The real-life Alexis Davis seemed keen to push questions of extravagance and social responsibility to the forefront. What she really seems to have done was focus ABC fans on out-of-touch luxury in the face of public suffering.

Probably, she referred to the government shut down that affected a lot of people. Extreme wealth and plenty of hardship were also under her hammer.

As expected, the post brought lots of reactions. However, not everyone agreed with her criticism. Often polarising, some people naysayed her opinion.

Was Nancy Lee Grahn correct about the Zuckerberg couple not attending the charity gala? Well, there seem to be no photos of them there, and Harper’s Bazaar merely mentioned that they attended the birthday party for Jenner. Still, is it okay to shame extremely wealthy people and what they choose to do with their time?
On one hand, Grahn’s caption invited ABC fans to consider the social impact of wealth and power. Actually, it questioned the idea that such displays are merely personal, arguing that they carry public symbolism.
On the other hand, as one of her followers had said, nobody really knows what charitable work they might do behind the scenes. And, unlike Nancy, not all famous faces see themselves as political activists.

Nancy needs to worry about herself as I don’t see her doing anything but billionaires have a right to go to what they want with their own time and money!! Nancy should follow other peoples examples
