GH fans may agree that this might be a likely outcome if Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) provides evidence that Neil perjured himself!

GH viewers know that Britt was getting it on with Julian Jerome (William deVry) not that long ago, and in the afterglow confessed that she’d seen Alexis kissing someone passionately outside a hotel room in New York. When Julian pressed her on the matter, Britt clarified that Alexis fell into her hotel room with Dr. Neil Byrne. Of course, Britt didn’t know that Alexis used to be Neil’s patient. However, Julian did and Britt’s revelation completely angered him. (You know, ethics and all that.)

GH fans might be groaning to themselves right now because most didn’t see this coming. Some viewers believed that whoever had been watching Neil and Alexis had malicious motives. A question some have is whether this could have been the same person who originally tipped off the ethics board. However, it doesn’t seem likely that Britt was the person who originally turned Neil in does it?

GH Spoilers – Neil And Alexis Can’t Help Themselves

At this point, GH fans know that for quite some time now, Alexis and Neil have played with fire. Neil and Alexis have bumped into one another, threw longing (teenage angst-filled) gazes at each other, and otherwise awkwardly hinted that they wanted to grind. It wasn’t too long before Alexis and Neil gave into temptation and got jiggy with it.

Of course, Neil tried to keep things above board. He stopped seeing Alexis as a therapist. He tried to stay away from her, but then ran into her and shared a kiss at a drag queen’s bingo night. Then he ran into her again in New York at the opera. Fate seemed to be calling Neil and Alexis’s name.

But ah! Cruel fate. Apparently, fortune caused Britt to be right there, in just the right spot, to catch Neil and Alexis about to engage in the act of sexual congress.

General Hospital Spoilers – Neil Doesn’t Mind

An interesting question on many GH viewers’ minds is why Neil seemed so lackadaisical about keeping his medical license. GH fans may remember that when Neil and Alexis went before the ethics board, Neil thought about just being honest. What’s the worst that could happen?

Sure, he could lose his medical license. But, so what? What’s that in comparison to finding true love? In fact, Neil seemed disappointed that Alexis ended up lying to the board! It may actually be a breath of fresh air for Neil then if Britt were to bring the truth of his affair to light. Indeed, some GH fans might see Neil willing to lose one future in order to gain another.
