Robyn Bernard, Former General Hospital Star Passes Away At 64In some sad news, reports reveal that former General Hospital (GH) star Robyn Bernard, who played Terry Brock on the show in the mid-80s, has passed away at the age of 64.

According to TMZ, the Riverside Country Coroner identified Bernard’s body using fingerprints when deputies responded to an investigation call in San Jacinto.

The actress’s body was found in the early hours of Tuesday, March 12 in an open field, behind a business; however, as per Sgt. Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez, it looks like “foul play” has not been suspected for her passing.

As of this writing, the coroner has not cited a cause of death. While an autopsy had been scheduled, it can take up to several weeks for a toxicology report to return.

GH Star Robyn Bernard’s Career

The actress was born in Gladewater, Texas on May 26, 1959. Her first acting job was in the 1981 movie, Diva, and she also had guest appearances on shows like Whiz Kids, Simon & Simon, as well as The Facts of Life.

Still, her big break was playing singer Terry Brock/Terry O’Connor on GH, and she entered this role in 1984.

Her character struggled with alcoholism, which placed a wedge in her singing career. Bernard’s run with the soap ended in March 1990, when Terry was given a record contract, thus leaving the land of Port Charles.
