Labor day is Monday, September 2, 2024, and fans are wondering if their favorite shows will be televised or not. Here is what the networks have planned in the way of preemptions, reruns, and new episodes for the upcoming Labor Day holiday.
Days Of Our Lives News – Not Preempted
Days of Our Lives is, of course, only available only for streaming on Peacock. However, this means that Days Of Our Lives isn’t affected by the same issues that network tv soaps are. There are no sporting events or breaking news that suddenly appears interrupting the episode so Days Of Our Lives will appear as usual.
Spoilers for this episode reveal that Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman) will worry about Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). This could certainly have to do with Chanel’s auditioning partner for Body and Soul. Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) will freak out, likely for the same reason as Chanel. Finally, Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall) will give Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) a warning.
General Hospital News – Will Repeat An Episode
General Hospital fans will have to wait until Tuesday, September 3 to find out what happens to John Cates (Adam J Harrington) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Sonny has just popped two bullets into “Jagger’s” chest at the end of Friday’s show. However, fans will have to wait for three days for this cliffhanger conclusion.
Instead of a new episode, fans will see a repeat of Kristina Corinthos’ (Kate Mansi) fall out the window of Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) Metrocourt suite. Of course, we all know the fallout from this episode is still going on and may still for months to come. Will Kristina get her death wish? Fans will have to wait until Tuesday to see what happens.
The Bold And The Beautiful News – Is New
CBS’s The Bold And The Beautiful is airing a new episode on Labor Day. Of course, fans are on the edge of their seat wondering if John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will hear Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) pleas to help her. Perhaps Steffy should be glad that Finn doesn’t always lister to her or she would have been dead a long time ago.
Finn just instinctively knows that Luna has something to do with Steffy’s disappearance. What does Luna have in store for Steffy next? Will Steffy find herself in a worse mess than before? Perhaps Steffy should think before wanting to run away from all her problems, after all, Finn warned her that something bad would happen if she left.
The Young And The Restless News – Has A New Episode
Finally, The Young and The Restless will, like B&B, air a new episode as well. Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) attempt to take over Chancellor has Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) fighting instead of working together.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), and Billy are still dealing with the aftermath of Adam and Chelsea’s one-night-stand. Be sure to tune in for all the drama.
Be sure to check us out for all of your news, spoilers, and updates for Days Of Our Lives, General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, and The Bold and the Beautiful. In the meantime, have a safe and happy Labor Day.
