The Bold and the Beautiful News: Alum Jacob Young’s Music Career Thriving – But Is He Returning To Daytime TV?

Jacob Young, formerly known as Rick Forrester on “The Bold and the Beautiful” and Lucky Spencer on General Hospital announced that his new song titled “Lovin’ It” will be available for purchase on various platforms on Friday, January 3.

In a post on Twitter, the actor said, “So proud of this tune, that myself my friend @thesevenfreeman and #Bradyseals from @littletexasband wrote,” Young tweeted. “Available anywhere and everywhere you can buy or stream music…#Spotify #googleplay #applemusic #itunes #youtube.”

Young is best known for his role as Rick Forrester on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” He debuted on the soap back in 1997 but he has also appeared on other sudsers including “General Hospital” and “All My Children.” The actor exited the soap in 2018 and his departure was later explained that Rick and Maya broke up off-camera.

Since leaving “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Young has landed a gig on the web series “Beacon Hill.” He also appeared on TV movies like “When Vows Break,” “Christmas Made to Honor,” and “The Road to Christmas.”

Earlier this year, he participated in an AMC reunion on “Strahan and Sara,” together with former co-stars Susan Lucci, Walt Willey, and more.

General Hospital Spoilers – Is He Returning To General Hospital?

“General Hospital” spoilers reveal that Young may reprise his role as Lucky Spencer on the sudser. He’ll return to town from Ireland where his son is now visiting him. Aiden Spencer (Jason David) is spending the holidays with his dad and it’s the perfect time for the father and son to come home.

Since the actor is no longer on contract with “The Bold and the Beautiful,” he has expressed his interest in the ABC sudser. Young is currently busy making music and films but he reportedly wants to be in a short arc rather than be on contract with “General Hospital.” There’s no official news or confirmation as to whether Young is returning to the show but if he is, viewers will surely welcome him with open arms.
