The Craziest Rumors About General Hospital’s Steve Burton
As many of our loyal readers can recall, Steve took time off from acting back in March and while he hasn’t specified the reason for his leave of absence, a lot of people believe that it has to do with his personal life.
After all, Steve did say that he wanted to spend some more time at home with his new wife, Michelle Lundstrom.
But at the same time, many General Hospital fans have noticed that Steve seems to be very preoccupied these days with making his side hustle become his main source of income.
For years now, Steve has been trying to promote his business as a health and fitness expert. Now that he’s teamed up with Michelle, many people believe that Steve might be looking to step out of acting and move into being a fitness coach full-time.

Not only that, but Steve’s ex, Sheree Burton, hinted that the actor might be having money troubles, per Radar Online.
One of the reasons why he moved from California was because he couldn’t afford to live in the Golden State anymore.
Not only that, but Steve also claims that he was miserable living in California thanks to the high-cost of living and that he also had to commute 20 hours a week to make it to work.
If that all weren’t enough, there was speculation earlier in the year that suggested Steve had left the show to focus on his personal life and his marriage to his wife, Michelle.
And while no one knows if that’s true or not, there were some rumors on social media that said Michelle wanted Steve to spend more time at home than on the set of the show.

Well, that couldn’t be any further from the truth as Michelle made it clear that she’s very proud of the work her husband has done now that he’s been nominated for a Daytime Emmy.
Michelle even took to her Instagram account to write, “So well deserved. Your Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and heart you’ve always poured into Jason Morgan.”
