Former General Hospital star Ingo Rademacher, who was once best known for his role as Jasper Jacks on the hit ABC soap, is still having a very hard time finding work in the entertainment industry even though it’s been several long years since he was fired from the soap.
This Fired Actor Still Can’t Find Work
Ingo was on General Hospital from 1996 to 2021, but unfortunately was let go after he had failed to comply with the network’s vaccine mandate at the time.
And while his co-star Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) got fired as well, he was eventually brought back on the show and that’s mostly because he didn’t sue the network for trying to infringe on his rights. Ingo did.
Burton’s lawyer claimed, “ABC’s re-hiring of Mr. Burton undermines its argument that Ingo’s political beliefs did not play any role in its decision to fire him — to ‘recast’ his role — in 2021.”
Even with that said, a lot of people can’t help but wonder if Ingo would even want his old job back at this point. After all, he’s basically become persona non grata for the cast and crew of General Hospital.
He’s waged such a legal war with the network that he might not even be welcome back to the show’s set anymore.
Will Ingo Rademacher Ever Return To The Soap World Again?
He hasn’t worked a full-time job since he was booted out from General Hospital several years ago. At the end of the day, a paycheck is a paycheck and he could certainly use a stable one right now.
If that weren’t enough, there’s also speculation that Nancy Lee Grahn would quit the show if Ingo were to ever come back.
Back in 2021, Nancy took to her Instagram account to write, “The fellow actor, #IngoRademacher, is mercifully no longer a part of the [‘General Hospital’] cast,” which apparently Ingo did not appreciate at all. Ingo left the hit ABC soap after he refused to comply with the network’s vaccine mandate.
So far Ingo Rademacher himself has not made any comments about what his next step will be.
