This General Hospital Star Refuses To Be A Victim

Let’s just say that she is looking forward and certainly not looking back anymore. Clearly, we are talking about General Hospital star Kirsten Storms as the actress recently admitted that she refuses to be a victim.

This General Hospital Star Refuses To Be A Victim

And by that we mean, her Disney childhood star past. Daytime television fans know Kirsten as Maxie Jones on General Hospital but during her teen years, she was also the star of the hit Disney Channel series, Zenon. It’s also the reason why she became a household name.

Even though she’s been quiet for the last several months, Kirsten took to her Instagram account to clarify a few matters about her personal life.

She even wrote, “My life in California (and work there) was chosen for me at a young age. Have I been lucky to maintain employment in this industry, since my parents relocated us from Florida – with the sole intention that I become an actor? Hell yes. I’m proud of myself for handling the majority of that on my own…but that life became the ONLY thing I knew how to do. Or thought I was capable of.”

The actress continued, “Then I had Harper, and how I viewed every single thing in life shifted. I swear I’m not going to continue to bring up my medical situation (I’ll make jokes and it will be awkward), but until I began to understand how precious time is and how what we prioritize becomes ALL we have, there was never a thought that my life would ever change. Definitely not in the way I’ve always wanted it to.”

What’s Next For Kirsten Storms?

That said, it’s safe to say that Kirsten clearly doesn’t see herself as a victim of her past or her career but instead is doing what she can to move her life forward.

So far Kirsten Storms herself hasn’t made additional comments about the matter, but we will definitely update you with all of the latest details the moment they come in. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
