DAYS OF OUR LIVES
‘DOOL’ ratings for the week of July 17-21 drew in 1,975,000, a loss of 110,000 total viewers. Unfortunately, only 50,000 women viewers ages 18-34 tuned in to ‘Days of Our Lives’, representing a loss of 18,000 viewers in this demographic.
It also marks a new low in both total viewership and viewers for this demographic, with the previous low in demographics coming in at 57,000 on June 26-30, 2017.
GENERAL HOSPITAL
‘GH’ drew in 2,359,000 viewers for the week of July 17-21 and that represents a loss of 51,000 viewers from the previous week. With 85,000 women ages 18-34 tuned in ‘General Hospital’ had a gain of 6,000 viewers.
The recent rumors concerning Chad Duell’s departure from the show could have affected total viewership, given the popularity of his character, Michael Corinthos.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
Soap Opera Network reports an increase of 16,000 total viewers for ‘B&B’ the week of July 17-21 with 3,476,000 tuned in. However, The Bold and the Beautiful didn’t fare well with women 18-34 with 94,000 watching, representing a loss of 8,000 viewers in this demographic.
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS
‘Y&R’ ratings for the week of July 17-21 were strong with 4,458,000 overall viewers, even though that signaled a decrease of 20,000 in total households tuned in. The soap opera lost ground with women 18-34 with 112,000 watching. These numbers represent a loss of 13,000.
