General Hospital spoilers reveal Ava Jerome getting closer to the truth about what happened between Nikolas Cassadine and Esme Prince, but does Nikolas have a good excuse to use?

General Hospital Spoilers – Marcus Coloma Hypes Softball Game, Maura West Joins In

General Hospital told us that the different families and businesses in town played softball for the show’s 15,000th episode although we never actually saw the softball game. In fact, all we saw were the players gathered at Charlie’s after the game. Surprisingly, the Cassadines were one of the families who played when one would never think of them as the softball type.

“Just to be clear, in yesterday’s 15k episode, team “Cassadine Industries” beat everyone at baseball,” Coloma tweeted.

Maura West chimed in with her own reply. “Though, to be fair, there is a cheater in their lineup.”

West has a good point as Nikolas did indeed cheat on his wife with his son’s crazy girlfriend, but then Coloma had a response to West using a gif saying “We were on a break!”

GH Spoilers – A GH Break Like A Friends Break

As longtime sitcom fans know, “We were on a break!” is the line Ross Gellar used with Rachel Green on the classic sitcom friends when he slept with another woman during a brief breakup. Any time that was ever brought up again, Ross would yell “WE WERE ON A BREAK!”

But were Nikolas and Ava on a break? She hadn’t served him divorce papers and they were still living in the same house when he slept with Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) in a tawdry little scene on the floor of the Wyndemere study. Yes, Ava had decided they should have separate bedrooms, but the fact is they were still married and, as of now, they are still married, so what Nikolas did was cheat.

In fact, Nikolas is so broken up about what he did, knowing he seriously screwed up, he now wants to divorce Ava so he can marry her with a clean slate. That’s not quite how it works when you cheat, but Nikolas is not always the brightest of Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) three kids. How will Ave react when she learns what Nikolas did?
