Who was Holly Sutton on GH? General Hospital spoilers tease that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is on a downward spiral after hearing that Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) is dead. Will he end up derelict and down and out in Port Charles as result of this horrible news? He’s already halfway there!
Robert went on a bender after hearing that his ex died when the boat she was on sank. He ended up belligerent in a bar then crashed on Laura Spencer’s (Genie Francis) sofa with no recollection of how he got there. Yep, it sure sounds like he’s punched a one-way ticket to nowhere.

General Hospital Comings and Goings – Holly was a busy gal in Port Charles
Holly Sutton debuted in 1982 on General Hospital and in 1985 she presumably died in a plane crash. In 1992 she came back from the dead and stayed until 1993. Then in 2006 she popped up again and later in 2009 made another appearance.
Fast forward to 2012 when she showed up on General Hospital to facilitate the exit of her son Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons) with Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary). In 2015 she again appeared, this time when Luke exited the canvas.

General Hospital Spoilers and Updates – Holly was involved with both Luke and Robert
Holly’s debut came when she had a one-night stand with Luke. Unfortunately at that time she was an inveterate con artist and when she followed him to town she tried to pull a fast one on the unsuspecting residents.
Next, Holly was kidnapped and Luke and Robert had to rescue her in Canada, followed by Luke being “killed” in an avalanche and Holly learning she was pregnant with his child. The ever-gallant Robert married Holly but soon after she suffered a miscarriage.
They were in the thick of a relationship when Luke returned! After much deliberation she decided it was Robert who had her heart and a supercouple was born. In fact they became the GH It Couple when Luke and Laura left the show.

General Hospital Spoilers Scoop – Anna Devane came between Holly and Robert
In 1985 Robert’s ex Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) came to town with his love child Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough). Nonetheless, Robert and Holly left for a life in Australia only for Robert to return in 1987 with the news that Holly had been killed in a plane crash.
In 1992 Holly appeared—what really happened was that she was in a coma and stayed away so that Robert and Anna could be together; then Robert supposedly “died.”
What Happens Next On GH – Is Holly Sutton Dead or Alive?
Fast forward to 2006 when Robert and Holly both came to Port Chuck and a lot of quarrelling went on as to who zoomed who. Then in 2009 she arrived again in a dramatic whirl to reveal that Ethan was Luke’s son.
Through the years Holly was mentioned and in 2020 Robert learned that she was dead again.
Is she really? Or is he about to re-find the love of his life?

I still think she is still married to Robert they were suppose to get a divorce so He could stay married to Anna. But when Robert and Anna were presumed dead, Holly tore up the divorce papers and threw them in the Port Charles river. They never addressed them again as far as I know. He needs to find her alive. He said numerous times that he loved her more than any other woman, he loved her with his whole being. A love like that can’t just end this way. She has to be alive. She said also that she would always love him.
